This week has been exciting. I have been skiing you can see my reflection on that below. On Thursday I met what most likely will be our future PrimeMinster it awesome she released a new tax policy at the event that I went to  Click Here For Full Story . When she talked she was very very passionate about everything she was talking about. She said that she would be investing some time into 'Finishing The West Coast Wilderness Trail'. She is a very enthused Labour leader I hope she does become our future prime minister she has a very good mind set on what she wants to get done. The only problem with all these policies she is bringing out is that New Zealand just simply don't have enough money to cover all of these policies. Ski, Crash, Pain, Repeat. Ahhh, STOP!!!! Over the fence I go and so close to falling down the bank. Crash, helmet snapped ski digs into the snow so you can't see it, Goggles fill up with snow. You're in so much pain your in so much pain when you move you feel like your going to break something. But you must experience all of this if you are wanting to become a skier or if you want to be good at any sport. 

Room 8 has started these Opportunites sessions where we can make a small Business and we get to make social media pages. I don't just see these sessions to just make social media pages I see the sessions as if we want our small business to strive then we have to work for it. I reckon people in our class will make the social media pages and just wait for clients to come to you. For example, my small business is creating websites for schools and bigger business anyway Mr S-W and I sat down and we were looking at schools websites and Mr S-W got in contact with Kumara school and I went down to teach a few kids on how to make their school website. I think that if you really want it to work then you will work really hard and make a goal and work for if your goal is to get $100 then you need to work for it advertise get the word out that you want to work. Time to load into the vehicles to go to the polytech to meet the instructors and to replace our helmets and lifejackets. We arrived at the polytech and we went and met the instructors I already knew two of the Polytechnic instructors from the previous trip of Rock Climbing/Abseiling at Charleston their names were Jake and Gabby the other instructor's names were Nathan, Jake, Gabbie and I forgot the others.   It was time to go to the meeting location of getting into the rafts when we got there we changed into our wetsuit and thermals then we ate. Then we played a weird game that I didn’t like it's when you have a buddy anyway the game was the teacher/Instructor was said buddy up that's when your buddy that is standing behind you jumps up on your back then they can say buddy down it's when you jump down, They could say buddy swap that's when the buddy swaps so the buddy that was behind will now be in front, Then they can say buddy around that's when you run arou

I woke up with excitement rock climbing and abseiling was just around the corner. I'm doing the rock climbing and I'm was holding on for my life on the edge of the cliff I'm stuck I feel like if I let go I'm going to fall and it was only a practice climb but it was still high but I managed to get up to the top of the cliff and I was one of the fastest one to climb it mainly because I wanted to get it done and over with. it's time now to climb down a huge cliff there I'm feeling horrible inside because there is a big hump that I have to get over and after that hump, there is a big drop and it felt like you were just hanging for your life. Overall it was fun I would most definitely do it again. Thanks to the polytech for coming

This week has been a week of fizz we have had 3 guest visit, Steve Gurney. Steve Gurney was a pretty awesome guy he was the guy that won the Coast To coast 9 times in a row. The funny thing was that he told us was that he had Always came last in the school cross country every single time and that his mother Said well Steve I don’t think you should be an athlete when you grow up and then Steve became a National athlete icon. He also told us about his near-death experiences Like when he got hit by a train and his car got totally recked and he said that he wasn’t looking Where he was going then BAM he got hit by the train. Cool guy and inspiring. He also brought a guy Called Richard I think his name was and he was Steve Gurney's personal trainer and he seemed what he Was talking about he talked to us about how to pace ourselves on the Four Jay’s run. Yesterday I had my last Paroa School Cross Country I did the best I could do, throughout all the Cross Country I have done. From year 1-6 I came 5th in every school cross country, in year 7 I came 3rd and in year 8 I managed to come 2nd. I think the thing that helped me get a good position was the Four Jays run we do every day. I think that has a big impact to get you ready for the school cross country. At year 6 I didn’t care about the Four Jays run and that didn’t help me in year 6 because I still got the same position. But from year 7 I actually did care about the Four jays run and I see why the teachers make us run it. Since I have done the Four Jays run its helped me get a better place in Cross Country. I also think I’ll go better in the West Coast Cross Country because of the Four Jays run. Before I ran the Cross country yesterday I was filming the younger kids doing their cross country and there was a little kid who saw me videoing me them and asked I he could stop and I said no

Monday was a stressful day reason being is the school captains including me was away on a leadership camp and we were gone for the last two days of the week then Monday came and we thought that we weren't ready because we have been away I still had to finish my opening statement I only had about 1.30 minutes and it had to be around 2 and a half minutes and I hadn’t even started my closing statement but luckily the teacher gave us the whole morning block to finish and I managed to finish it. The debate, in general, was good I had Tess, Sophie and Eloise my team was awesome Tess had definitely won the crossfire at Daniel (Scream Off)  Sophie had a good Rebuttal and Eloise had a good Argument Statement. We must have been good at what we were doing because we WON!!!

Let the William Pike challenge begin. I woke up with e That is the best Pike challenge I've ever done... Well, it's the only challenge if done this year. We all entered the spectacular cave with excitement all through our bodies. Here is the first corner Jeez it was cold when I say cold I mean really Cold, The water was right up to my hips. I must have fallen over so many times more times than I can remember. There were brilliant caves side caves that took you to different spots the one that I went through was the one where you could see over everyone and there was also one where you could cut through to the front of the line I used it because there were so much slow people in front of my so what I decided to do was go through the little side cave and I came out to the front of the line.
