Room 8 has started these Opportunites sessions where we can make a small Business and we get to make social media pages. I don't just see these sessions to just make social media pages I see the sessions as if we want our small business to strive then we have to work for it. I reckon people in our class will make the social media pages and just wait for clients to come to you. For example, my small business is creating websites for schools and bigger business anyway Mr S-W and I sat down and we were looking at schools websites and Mr S-W got in contact with Kumara school and I went down to teach a few kids on how to make their school website. I think that if you really want it to work then you will work really hard and make a goal and work for if your goal is to get $100 then you need to work for it advertise get the word out that you want to work. Yesterday I had my last Paroa School Cross Country I did the best I could do, throughout all the Cross Country I have done. From year 1-6 I came 5th in every school cross country, in year 7 I came 3rd and in year 8 I managed to come 2nd. I think the thing that helped me get a good position was the Four Jays run we do every day. I think that has a big impact to get you ready for the school cross country. At year 6 I didn’t care about the Four Jays run and that didn’t help me in year 6 because I still got the same position. But from year 7 I actually did care about the Four jays run and I see why the teachers make us run it. Since I have done the Four Jays run its helped me get a better place in Cross Country. I also think I’ll go better in the West Coast Cross Country because of the Four Jays run. Monday was a stressful day reason being is the school captains including me was away on a leadership camp and we were gone for the last two days of the week then Monday came and we thought that we weren't ready because we have been away I still had to finish my opening statement I only had about 1.30 minutes and it had to be around 2 and a half minutes and I hadn’t even started my closing statement but luckily the teacher gave us the whole morning block to finish and I managed to finish it. The debate, in general, was good I had Tess, Sophie and Eloise my team was awesome Tess had definitely won the crossfire at Daniel (Scream Off)  Sophie had a good Rebuttal and Eloise had a good Argument Statement. We must have been good at what we were doing because we WON!!!

NOTE(ICE CREAM MAKER NEEDED) Ingredients 2 Cups Of Sugar 2 Cups Of Water 1 ½ Cups of Lemon Juice Or 6 Lemons 1 tbsp Grated Lemon Zest In a medium saucepan, whisk sugar and water under medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Cool completely in the refrigerator. Whisk in lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour into an ice cream maker and mix for 30-40 minutes. Last week me dad and two of dad’s friends went to the roar and this year we got to go to Ryan’s Creek in Haast. We woke up at 5.00 in the morning and I said goodbye to mum and we got in the truck and left. By now we were in Franz Joseph's we went into Foursquare and I got a Sausage roll and dad got I pie. When we arrived in Haast then we went to where the helicopter was and we packed the helicopter and went up to Ryans Creek that was about a 20-minute flight. When we got to camp we set up everything. Then Dad and I went to go for an evening hunt and we crossed the river about 5 times and the river was really strong. Then about ten minutes later we saw a hind which is a female deer and dad shot it,It was shot but it walked off. As I start my speech, think about the last time you were called names, think about how you felt like you are the only one that gets bullied but in fact you are not alone. There are 160,000 students that have missed school on any given day in case of being       bullied again. 31% of students at primary school say that they have experienced bullying weekly. What is a bully? A bully is when you are constantly called names picked on, Telling people things that is not true about you. Hi my name is Kaia and i'm going to tell you about my trip up north. When I woke up at home I doubbled checked that I had all my of my stuff in my suite case then mum took me and my brother to christchurch airport it took 3 hours to get to the airport then I at 11.20 we had to start boarding the plane I said good bye to my mum. Then we went on the plane it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to auckland and about 10 minutes before we landed there were two little girls that started to hand you the lollies then we landed. Then we were meet by my nana and grandad and then once we got our bags we took there car and headed to the hotel.
